UIN: The Infrastructure Turning Interactions into Habits

Ferter joins UIN’s USD 2 million seed round, backing a Latin American company building a new infrastructure layer to understand and activate user behavior.

Digital companies have invested enormous resources in attracting new users. However, securing a download, opening an account, or completing a registration is only the beginning.

The real challenge comes next: encouraging people to return, use the product more frequently, and find enough value to stay.

This problem is especially relevant for banks, fintechs, digital wallets, telecommunications companies, and consumer platforms. Although many organizations have access to vast amounts of data, they still rely on broad promotions, notifications, and traditional points programs that do not always create lasting behavioral change.

UIN was created to change that.

From Isolated Rewards to Behavioral Infrastructure

UIN is building Behavior OS, a technology infrastructure that enables companies to design, implement, and measure experiences that help create habits.

Its platform connects each user’s transactional behavior with missions, challenges, streaks, incentives, and relevant rewards. This allows companies to move from broad campaigns to more timely and personalized experiences directly tied to goals such as increasing usage frequency, improving retention, and strengthening customer relationships.

The proposition goes beyond adding gamification features. UIN aims to become a layer embedded within its clients’ products—an infrastructure capable of determining which action to encourage, when to do so, and how to measure its impact.

Its modular, API-first architecture supports rapid implementation without requiring significant changes to a company’s core systems. Organizations can begin with a specific need and gradually expand the platform’s capabilities as they identify new use cases.

Why We Believe in UIN

At Ferter, we look for companies solving meaningful problems with scalable technology and a vision that can transcend markets. We found several qualities in UIN that excite us.

1. A Challenge Shared Across Multiple Industries

Retention and engagement are not limited to a single industry. Banks, fintechs, telecommunications companies, retailers, and consumer applications all need to build more frequent and valuable relationships with their users.

This allows UIN’s technology to serve different industries while remaining focused on the same objective: turning isolated actions into recurring behaviors.

2. A Solution Embedded in the Product

UIN is not simply a marketing tool or a rewards catalog. Its technology integrates directly into the user experience, connecting each interaction with clear business indicators.

This proximity to the product allows UIN to support strategic decisions involving activation, recurring usage, and loyalty.

3. Technology Built to Scale

Behavior OS brings together automation, analytics, personalization, and incentives within a single infrastructure.

Its modular model allows each client to adopt the tools it needs and expand their use as user volume and operational complexity increase.

4. A Vision Built in Latin America

UIN already works with companies in Argentina, Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador. This regional presence enables the company to develop its product around the needs of markets where digital adoption is growing rapidly, while retention remains one of the greatest challenges.

We are particularly excited by its ambition to build a solution in Latin America with global potential.

A New Stage of Growth

UIN has closed a USD 2 million seed round. This capital will help accelerate its regional expansion, strengthen the team, and continue the development of Behavior OS.

The next stage includes entering more markets, expanding product capabilities, and building an operation ready to support larger clients.

At Ferter, we are excited to support Facundo Corsi, Manuel Heredia, and the entire UIN team on this journey. We believe the future of digital engagement will not depend on sending more notifications or offering more discounts, but on developing a deeper understanding of what creates value for each user.

UIN is building the infrastructure to make that possible.
